Hi, I am a second career teacher. I previously worked in Barnes and Noble's Nook Media subsidiary as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer. I helped lead the QA initiative on the Nook reading mobile application for iOS and Android platforms. I also led the QA testing efforts on Barnes and Noble's Galaxy Tab S2 NOOK 8.0" while working with Samsung to place the perfect product into customers hands. I was also able to help in testing B&N's Press initiatives, which is B&N's self-publishing platform, where people like you can publish their own books. So, as you can see, I have extensive knowledge and background in business and software/technology, that I bring into my classroom. I am proud of my accomplishment in my first career, but very excited and grateful for the opportunity to teach young students within my community, especially at Santa Rosa Academy.
My family and I reside in French Valley, where we participate in local sports and events. My wife and I enjoy watching our children grow within our community. We also love attending concerts and sporting events. As stated, we have three daughters; one in high school, and two in elementary school. We also have our, not so little anymore, baby boy.
After high school, I attended a local community college in which I received my Associate of Arts degree in Physical Education. I then moved on to Union College, in Kentucky, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Human Performance with a minor in Biology. After my tenure at B&N, I completed my teaching credential and Master of Arts degree in Learning and Teaching at the University of Redlands.
